Chaplaincy celebration

On Friday 2nd September Chaplaincy celebrated 21 years at the Kyabram Bocce club.  George McArdle, the guitarist from ”Little River Band" was guest speaker.  George was the original bass player for LRB and is in the ARIA Hall of Fame.

The Bocce club was full with people all enjoying an amazing meal and cutting of the 21st cake.  Many generous donations were made to support the students, teachers and staff at Kyabram P-12 College. 

21 years ago a committee formed to place a Chaplain in the high school. Chaplaincy has been supporting families through droughts, COVID and other tough times in our community.

Liz Spicer has been the Chaplain for most of that time.  Recently another Chaplain, David Czech, has commenced two days a week in the primary school.  David is very popular with the students.

Chaplaincy has been the consistent help and will be into the future.  Kyabram people are unique and support their own through Chaplaincy.  Well done and thank you Kyabram!
