Lions Club Junior Public Speaking Contest
Last night we had four students take part in the Lions Club Junior Public Speaking Contest at the Buninyong Bowling Club. The students competed against other competitors from Mt. Clear, Emmaus, Napoleons and Ballarat Christian College.
We had two students competing in the Grade 3/4 category and two students competing in the Grade 5/6 category. Well done to Evie H, Addison H, Aubree S and Naomi P for their outstanding speeches. All four students are to be congratulated on their research, preparation and execution of their speeches. They have all been practising hard and have worked diligently to take on feedback over several weeks to continuously improve.
Special congratulations goes to Addison and Naomi who were the overall winners in their age categories- fantastic work!

Student Curriculum Materials (formerly ‘Booklists’) 2023
Over the coming weeks, every family will receive details about the curriculum materials that will be provided to your child in 2023. Once again parents will be asked to contribute towards the cost of supplies their children will have access to in the classroom throughout the year.
We have had wonderful support from our parent community in the past to support the ongoing costs of providing curriculum resources for all students across the school and appreciate your support into the future.
