We have been learning about contact and non-contact forces in Science. Friction is an example of a contact force and we tested out how different surfaces affected the ability of a wooden block to move. Smoother surfaces allowed the block to move at a lower angle than rougher surfaces. Gravity is an example of a non-contact force. We dropped objects of different weight to see if the fell at the same or a different rate.
