Out of School Hours Care

WHAT'S HAPPENING

As always, we’ve been keeping ourselves busy and continuing to learn and grow together.

Week 5 was our cooking week. We started with the Pupil Free Day on Monday and made some delicious, yet healthy apple donuts. The children also made some beautiful chef hats to cook their favorite chocolate oat balls and chicken/veggie dumplings.

During Week 6, our theme was 'environment' where our aim was to understand how to take care of the earth and to instill character traits, such as kindness and a love for our planet. The children absolutely enjoyed doing an environment scavenger hunt on the oval. We also gathered some leaves from the oval and did some leaf painting. We also made a poster using recyclable material that gives out a message- GO GREEN, STAY CLEAN. 

We ended the week by creating some wildlife creatures using clay and plasticine. 

We are ready to have some more learning and fun with you in our upcoming holiday program. Please book your slots before they run out!
