Year 7 & 8 Sub School Manager

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teachers Conferences will be conducted on Tuesday, 27 July, from 11:30 am until 6:30 pm. Online bookings are open for parents/guardians which will be held remotely due to COVID 19. Google Meet sessions will be made available via your child’s device for you and your child to connect to teachers for the conferences. This will be a pupil free day. If you have any questions regarding the day or booking, please contact the College.

Year 8 Course Counselling

Due to lockdown the Year 8 Course Counselling sessions have been pushed back to Week 5 of this Term. However, now is the time for students to start thinking about what subjects interest them and what they might like to study in Year 9 and beyond. This will allow discussions, that occur in Week 5, to be as productive and supportive as possible. Information regarding subjects and selections can be found on the NGSC website under the ‘Learning Opportunities’ - ‘Curriculum’ tab. 

Year 8 Camp

Year 8 Camp to Halls Gap is still set to occur in Week 6 of this Term and we are extremely excited by the prospect. This cohort missed out on the opportunity to attend Camp last year due to COVID which was very unfortunate, as it is a great chance to develop relationships with peers and staff and support their integration into the College community. These benefits are strengthened on Year 8 Camp and are an opportunity to further develop resilience and teamwork skills. Consent and payment are due by 24 July, so please get on Compass and sign up for this thrilling opportunity.
