Library News

Mrs Heather Vassila

We have had a busy term in the library with our children continuing to show a love of reading great books. Many of our children are borrowing each week. Our library is also open each day for the second half of lunch, and we have many students who enjoy reading or just finding a quiet space to sit and reflect.

Reading books remains an activity that our Roselea children love to do.

If your child/children forgot their library books on Monday, they may bring them Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, so they do not miss out on holiday borrowing. Remember if children have no overdue books at home, they may borrow extra books for the holidays.

Our K-2 children made magic reading glasses in library. Magic Reading glasses will help our children become great readers.

PRC

A reminder to our 3-6 students to remember to continue to enter books read onto the Premier’s Reading Challenge reading list on the website. If children are having difficulty with this, then they can write the names of the books down and I can help them when term 2 begins.

The K-2 teachers and I are keeping lists of books read, so there is no need to worry about keeping lists for the K-2 children.

Happy Reading
