We welcome back Mr Russo, who has returned from leave and will be teaching 4R. Mrs Ennis will also be teaching 4R on Mondays for the rest of the year.

Parent/Teacher Interviews - Reminder

Parent/teacher interviews will be held in Week 2, Term 2 on Wednesday, 3rd May from 3.20 – 7.30pm. This is an opportunity to discuss your child's progress to date before Semester 1 reports are sent home in Week 10. Each interview is strictly 10 minutes. Interview times are allocated closest to the time 'window' that you select. If you are not able to secure a time that suits you, please contact your child’s teacher for an alternate time. Interpreters will be available for Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer and Arabic but limited to times between 4 – 7pm.

Gymnastics Program

The Gymnastics Program began today for students in Kindergarten and Year 2. The students will participate in weekly gymnastics lessons this term. This program will give our students greater access to the required 2 hours of physical activity at school each week. If you haven’t paid for this program, you can still pay, as all children were allowed to take part in the first lesson. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the office as we don't want children to miss out on this valuable learning.

P&C Mother’s Day Stall

The P&C Mother’s Day Stall will be held on Wednesday, 10th May. There will be a large array of gifts available for students to purchase for their mother or significant carer. Each class will have the opportunity to make a purchase at the Mother’s Day Stall. Please support the P&C with this fundraising event for our school.

Cross Country Carnival

The Annual Cross Country Carnival will take place on Thursday, 11th May at St Johns Park Oval. All students from Years 3 to 6 will take part in the carnival. There is no cost as students will walk to the park with their teachers. Students should be dressed in their sport uniform and wear running shoes.
