On Wednesday the 1st of February, our Year 12 cohort departed EMC to Lord Somers for their three day Year 12 Camp. The Year 12's participated in a variety of activities which included stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, pizza making, initiative games, beach games and the Coolart walk. Our students were led by the amazing, vibrant and energetic Lord Somers staff who went out of their way to ensure both the students and staff had the best experience possible.

The EMC trivia night was once again a huge success, well done to all of the brave students who participated in the lip sync battle. A special mention to Mr. Howard and Ms. Golde who led the staff performance.

On Friday, students were given their secret letters from home to read. This was an emotional activity for many of our students who were very grateful for the support they have received from their families throughout their educational journey. We hope this camp highlighted that although Year 12 may be a stressful one, they have the unwavering support of their teachers, friends and family to ensure they have a successful 2023.
