THANK YOU FROM THE RNDM SISTERS
To honour of the RNDM Sisters on their 125th anniversary, the College passed on handmade ceramic hearts with a card, written by Year 7 students, to the Sisters at their Celebratory Mass.
The College has recently received two emails of thanks to the Year 7s from Sisters Shelley and Madeleine Barlow RNDM which we are excited to share with you all.
Dear Ben,
Thank you for your card and the beautiful message that you wrote inside it. I was impressed with what you wrote. I am sure that you will grow into a fine a young man and do wonderful things in your life.
Your hope to grow into a generous person is a special hope – you are probably living that hope even now as you grow up.
I thought that you might like to know that I belong to Barlow House at Sacred Heart – what House are you in? And I thought that you might like to meet my little dog Johnny who jumped up to be in the photo for you!
Maybe I will meet up with you next year when I visit Perth (I am currently living in Melbourne and work at Sacred Heart Girls’ College Oakleigh).
I hope that you enjoy school and that you will have a wonderful Christmas holiday.
Every blessing, Ben, and thank you
Sr Madeleine
Dear Chris (Kan),
I received this beautifully crafted RNDM heart from a Year 7 Sacred Heart College student: Noah.
See attached two pictures: I have it as a necklace, and when not wearing it, I have it hanging on my patio wall.
Noah wrote that what he loves about Sacred Heart College is the opportunity to make lots of friends. I was very pleased to hear that. It fits in perfectly with our RNDM way of seeing and understanding life.
Many thanks and Sacred Heart Blessings of making lots of friends.
