2023 Centenary Fair and Open Day

2023 Centenary Fair and Open Day - 25 March, 11am to 3pm

The 2023 Centenary Fair and Open Day is fast approaching on Sat 25 March.

We are asking all members of the Kilvington community to consider volunteering in some capacity so it's the best event in 100 years! You know what they say – many hands make light work!

Sign up to volunteer on the day!

We need at least 200 volunteers to help out on Saturday 25 March to successfully run Kilvington’s Centenary Fair.

Please help us make the day a roaring success by putting up your hand to volunteer at one of the many stalls. The good news is, no experience necessary!

Donations - secondhand books, board games & puzzles (no toys)

Thank you to everyone who donated items for the secondhand books, games and puzzles stall at the upcoming Centenary Fair last Wednesday.

If you missed this opportunity and still have items you would like to donate, you can do so on Saturday 4 March in Dalton Hall from 9.00 to 11.00am. This is the same time as the opening of the Secondhand Uniform Shop (SHUS), so why not drop off your goods and sort out your uniform requirements at the same time?

Donations - chocolate

We are now accepting chocolate donations of all shapes and sizes for the Lob-a-Choc stall at the Fair.

Family chocolate blocks, regular chocolate blocks, small chocolate bars, individually wrapped small pieces of chocolate, Cadbury, Nestle, Lindt, Mars – you name it, we want it all!

We need A LOT of items to last throughout the day, so when you are next at the supermarket, please add a few extra items in your trolley and then drop them into the tubs marked 'Chocolate Donations' at Junior School, Senior School and Main Receptions all of next week.

Many thanks in advance and please contact Julie via julie_colee@yahoo.com or Jan via b.seesod1@gmail.com for more information.

Donations – Wine Bingo

We need as many donations as possible to make sure the Mystery Wine stall is a success. Please drop your sparkling, white or red wine bottles to the lovely people at Main, Junior School or Senior School Reception who will gratefully accept your donations.

Alternatively, swing by the Junior School and Senior School 'Kiss and Go' areas between 8.00 to 8.30am and again at 3.30pm on Wednesday 8 March and Friday 10 March and members of the PFA will be there to collect your wine donations.

Please note: students may NOT deliver wine to School, this must be done by a parent or carer. Thank you for your understanding.

Many thanks in advance and please contact Christiane via christiane@langenberg.com.au if you have any questions.

Donations - Jam and Relish Stall

Thank you to the team of wonderful cooks who joined together last Sunday to make many jars of jam and relish for the Fair. It was a fabulous day of fun and friendship, listening to music and cooking up a storm.

We are calling for donations of sugar and fruit donations to help make the Jam Stall really successful. Please contact Lou via 0404 413 328 or lougale3@hotmail.com and she can collect items from you.

We are also calling for jam or relish cooks. If you are able to make jam or relish in your own home and then donate to the stall, please contact Lou and she can get ingredients, jars and recipes to your doorstep. Thank you.
