Year 10 & 11 History Excursion

On Thursday 13th October, Year 10 and 11 History students had the opportunity to visit the Melbourne Holocaust Museum and the Shrine of Remembrance.

At the Holocaust Museum, all students engaged in a program called 'In Touch with Memory' where they handled and analysed artefacts from World War II and had an interview with Holocaust Survivor, Paul Grinwald.

At the Shrine, the Year 10 students completed a self-guided tour where they explored the different exhibitions on offer. The Year 11 students were taken on a guided tour of the Vietnam War exhibition by a Vietnam Veteran and participated in a Q&A where they were given insight into the experience of Australian soldiers.
