First Eucharist Update

Dear Parents

Thank you for your patience regarding the First Eucharist celebrations. Fr John ,Brian and I met last night to reschedule the sacrament of First Eucharist. Due to these uncertain times it was decided that they should not be delayed, so they will be held next Thursday night the 5th August at 6 pm for all the remaining candidates. 

Each candidate will be allowed to have 5 people.

It is important that we  follow current legislation outlined by the government regarding covid- 19.This means people over 18 years of age must wear a mask. Please remember to arrive early to allow enough time to QR code into the Church using the state government 

Confirmation Update

Dear Parents

Brian, Fr John and I met last night to discuss the details regarding Confirmation and our Year Six candidates. Currently, St Patrick’s Cathedral has restricted numbers of 100 for any ritual and it is uncertain as to when these restrictions will be lifted. For this reason it has been decided that Confirmation will be held at St Bede’s Church. 

Due to these uncertain times we do not want to delay this celebration therefore Confirmation will be held over two evenings-  Tuesday the 17th August at 6pm and the 19th August at 6pm. Each candidate is still allowed a total of 6 people to attend the sacrament.

A letter will be sent home tomorrow informing you of which date your child has been allocated.
