From the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is  truly  wonderful to have the children back at school!!!!!  We  hope this is the last lockdown Victoria  requires. I once again thank you for your support during the last two weeks.  Remote learning is not easy but everyone involved (parents, staff and students) were amazing.  The resilience shown by the  students is a real credit to them. 

School Covid Safety Plan

The "Schools Operation Guidelines" has now been  updated so I ask that all parents please  strictly adhere to the following;

• Social/physical distancing  at pick up and drop off.
• Masks to be worn indoors and outdoors  at all times
• No access to the  school grounds ( please come to the front office if picking up a child early)

To ensure social /physical distancing at pick up we will once again introduce the 2 pick up times. This will be effective as of tomorrow

3.05pm release - Children attending the school who have no siblings at St Bede's will be released

3.15pm release - Children attending the school who have siblings at St Bede's will be released

Further correspondence will be provided to parents every time the school receives updates.   e.g As of today interschool sport is now allowed. 

These restrictions are in place for the next 2 weeks. 

Sacraments

Last night the  School Principals and Religious Education Leaders of St Bridget's,  

St Anne's and St Bede's meet via zoom with Fr John to discuss arrangements for Confirmation. There will need to be changes and each family will receive a letter from the School and the Parish by the end of this week outlining these changes. 

Changes will also apply to those students who are yet to receive First Eucharist.  You will also receive a letter shortly. Thank you for your understanding.

Tuckshop

Tuckshop is unavailable until further notice . 

All French orders in the system will be honoured at our rescheduled French DAY tuckshop- TBA. 

We are looking forward to being back at tuckshop, putting smiles on your children’s faces as soon as we are permitted .
