Premiers’ Reading Challenge –  Special Announcement

Every student in years 7-10 who completes the Reading Challenge by the closing date will go into a draw to receive a Dymocks Gift voucher!  

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

• To Register, go to Compass – Star – Premiers’ Reading Challenge, then use your Log in and Password previously sent via email.  If you are unable to access this please email library@wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au for assistance
• To complete the challenge, students in years 7-9 are required to read 15 books, with at least 10 books from the Challenge list
• To complete the challenge, students in year 10 are required to read 15 books, with at least 5 from the Challenge list
• To access the Reading Challenge book lists go to Compass – Star – Premiers’ Reading Challenge, or use this link https://vprc.eduweb.vic.gov.au/searchbooklist
• Students can enter any books read in 2021

PLEASE NOTE: The Premiers’ Reading Challenge closes at Wantirna College on 31 August, 2021. Students receive valuable House Points for books finished, reviews submitted, and on completion of the Challenge. HAPPY READING

' Reading Challenge Celebrations !

Congratulations to Kaylee Freeman 8H and Reagan Barnes 8S who have completed the Premiers' Reading Challenge!  Kaylee has read more than the required number of books to meet the Challenge and submitted book reviews for each book completed earning 370 valuable House points for Collier. Reagan has also read more than the required number of books and on completing the Challenge has earnt 210 House points for Collier.  Both students will go in the draw for the Dymocks Gift voucher.

A special recognition for Julie Quach 7S who has finished reading 7 books and submitted  6 excellent book reviews, earning 130 House points for Collier, so far.
