Dear St Pius X Old Boy
Welcome to the first edition of the Old Boys Association e-newsletter which in future is planned as a bi-annual offering. The newsletter will provide an update on the St Pius X College Old Boys Association (SPXOBA) activities including key events and reunions, significant happenings at the College and updates on where your fellow Old Boys are now. We hope to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the welfare of our old Boy members. The Old Boys Association is an extension of the College and strongly supports its goals.
We hope you enjoy this update and we look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming annual dinner on Friday 10th September at the Chatswood Club - details over. This year we are welcoming new members from the classes of 2019 and 2020, as the Class of 2019 missed out during last years Covid restrictions.

About the Old Boys Association
The current SPX Old Boy Association (SPX OBA) was reformed in 1995 by Michael Watkins (1970), Vince Davoren (1970), Br David Curtin (1968), David Watkins (1979), Bill Gleeson (1972), Joe Gillespie (1960), Mark Byron (1970), with the primary objective to enable SPX Old Boys to stay in touch with their SPX classmates and the college.
Through various fund raising activities and donations, the SPXOBA currently provides financial assistance to current SPX students in their pursuit of excellence and also provides funds to various projects throughout the college, the college community and internationally through Edmund Rice Foundation (Christian Brothers) aid initiatives
The SPX OBA endeavours to provide and encourage a network for Old Boys in the professional and business community with the view to also providing career mentoring for current St Pius X students.
