From the Classroom - D3 (Rick)

Last week in celebration of Education Week, we had our classrooms open for family members to come and visit in the afternoon. The Foundation Team decided that the students would teach their guests how to play Bump, one of our engaging maths warm ups. Some even shared how to use a Place Value mat, which we have been learning about in maths. Students were also able to share some of their work with their special guests as well.

This experience was a great way to strengthen the partnership between school and home. Thank you to those that were able to attend to share and celebrate some learning with your child. Thank you to Mrs Nissen for being an extra special guest for the rest of the students in our class. They really appreciated sharing their writing with you!
