A special thank you to our wonderful Library Technician, Pina Bettiol who has done a tremendous job re-cataloguing our primary fiction collection into genres. Each novel now has a spine label denoting its genre. 

We hope that this will help students find new books they love while making it easier for them to explore genres they might not ordinarily be drawn to. 

Our most popular genres are Humour, Adventure and Fantasy, but we have many other genres that students can discover such as Friendships, Families, Classics, and School Stories, to name a few!

We recently celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime, with a reading of this year's title, The Speedy Sloth. National Simultaneous Storytime serves to promote the value of literacy and reading and fun of books. We now have our own resident "Library Sloth" yet to be named by our enthusiastic students.
