Curiosity on show

Thank you to the families who came to the Stage 2 CTC expo last week. Students showed their work in the area of Inquiry.

Inquiry - as a learning frame - is something that we are really proud of at GEPS. From Learning Centres in Kindy all the way to Grapple in Year 6, Inquiry Learning is alive and thriving across our school. And what makes this exciting is that students are engaging in authentic ways to take charge of their learning. They are learning to be curious; to research; to collaborate with others; to design some possible solutions or presentations of learning; to take on feedback to make their learning deeper; to show their learning; and to talk about themselves as learners. All of this - makes students deeper learners and more successful learners.

Ask your child what they are doing in Learning Centres, CTC or Grapple and how they find that learning.

Thank you

To our P&C team - for holding a successful Mothers Day Stall. They worked behind the scenes to purchase gifts, wrap them, advertise and ensure that every child had an opportunity to buy. I hope that Mothers Day was a lovely time for all.

To the new private canteen provider (Fiona from Aaple A Day). Every Tuesday and Thursday we have more and more lunch orders. We are ironing out any issues and trying to ensure a great canteen service. If you are interested in ordering for your child - download SpriggySchools and get started!
