Middle School Report

Middle School Team News

As we get to the halfway stage of Term 2 in the Middle School we are in preparation mode for our mid year exams. Our message to the students is that the exams are a chance to experience senior school life. Then, once they reach Year 12, the exam process is not foreign to them.

Exam Details:

Year 10: Begin on Monday June 5 and run through until Friday June 9 in the PAC. Students are only required at school when they have a scheduled exam and for our Impact session on Wednesday session 5.

Year 9: Begin on Tuesday June 13 and conclude on Monday June 19. As with the year 10 s all exams will be in the PAC and students are only required at school when they have a scheduled exam.

Our Impact sessions this term have seen a variety of guest speakers from the Victoria Police discussing various issues, such as consent / anti bullying and social media issues as well as a message on safe behaviour in the community.

Our year 10 s had their annual “Shape Your Destiny” seminar which was our first introduction into career choices for Senior School.

As always, we have had a plethora of excursions and camps that have been run through our Outdoor Education program and leadership programs.

Sport has also seen our soccer and netball teams head out to compete in the Darebin Division round robin competition.

On behalf of the Middle School we would like to thank Fran Mullins for her role as Acting Principal in Term one.
