Buildings update
What has changed in the school for 2023?
Stage 1 of the Building Project at Reservoir High School is now complete. Our newest building, the Manual Arts Centre, was handed over the school in mid-May and was activated for learning at the start of Week 5 of this term. Our students have been awe-struck by the facilities and are incredibly excited to be learning new skills and extend their talents in state-of-the-art facilities. This space includes industry standard Food Technology Kitchens and three purpose-built studios to allow for immersive learning in Textiles, Media and Product Design.
We are now preparing for the commencement of Stage 2 of the building redevelopment in early Term 3, which includes the specialised Science Labs, Technology Wing and Canteen. To accommodate this phase of the building project, there will be significant movement of resources and equipment across the school, including the move of the existing Science Labs into the B Block. We are committed to providing all members of our school community with the best possible facilities and innovative learning spaces. As the Principal of the school, a key part of my work is to advocate for Reservoir High School in the local and wider community and secure funding for Stage 3, ensuring the full realisation of the rejuvenation project for our school.
