BREAKFAST CLUB

As you can see, the winter months and arrival of cold weather has meant an increase in numbers coming to breakfast club for a warm cheese toastie at the start of the day, with upwards of 80 students calling in.

Breakfast Club is open to all students. Monday, Thursday, Friday. 8-8.30 in the PAC foyer. Don’t leave it too late to come or we regularly run out at the end of the session.

SMILE SQUAD FREE DENTAL SERVICE has been busy seeing students since the start of Term 4. A slight hitch with a van issue last week, but they will be back soon to see students who still need their treatment. Any inquiries - contact Marg Lawless via phone or email Margaret.lawless@education.vic.gov.au

RAISE MENTORING for Year 8 has commenced with 15 students and their adult volunteer mentors meeting for a period each week in the library. There is a genuine buzz, as the group meets for activities and discussion lead by RAISE our RAISE program counsellor, Dani.

This is the first time Reservoir High has worked with the RAISE foundation and we are really looking forward to hearing positive stories of this wonderful opportunity. Log on to raise.org.au to find out more about the RAISE Foundation.

POLICE YOUTH RESOURCE OFFICERS have visited school and continued their educational talks with students. The talks inform students about important and relevant aspects of the law. This term Year 10s listened to a talk on Consent and the Law and all Year 9s and 10s were also addressed about Community Safety and Violence.
