Drama - Theatre Studies News

What better way to teach students about musical theatre than to take the whole production cast to see a show and what a show it was! We have a lot of juniors in our school production this year with little to no performance experience, so getting them to sing and dance in unison is a big feat.

Our student choreographers are doing an amazing job training them and the performance of ‘& JULIET’ at the Regent Theatre in Collins Street certainly showed students the power of synchronization and unity of action, gesture, dance and movement. The best part was seeing our students responding to all of the popular songs and special effects created by the production team. Making theatre is a wonderful way to teach students discipline, responsibility and collaborative engagement.
