If your child is a competitive athlete and will not be able to attend the trials. Please email Mrs Gippel nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au to let her know and email through times.
Students from Years 3-6 will be competing in trial events for shot put, long jump and high jump at school for sport during school hours. This will take place during the last three weeks of Term 2. If you know your child will be away at this time and they are a competitive athlete, please email Mrs Gippel their distance so they can be considered for the championship events. Year two will complete these events at the Trial day at the track.
After an early start to the morning, we saw some fantastic sportsmanship and determination at the Armidale Diocesan Cross Country in Barraba today. Congratulations to all students representing our school, we are so proud of your efforts and your positive attitude and cheering towards each other didn’t go unnoticed.
We are excited to hear:
It is not too late register your child!

Personal skipping Journal
By participating in Jump Rope for Heart, we are expecting to get our students moving. We will have ropes available on the school grounds and we are encouraging everyone to help raise funds for lifesaving research and support programs. Please encourage extra skipping at home. This promotes both physical and mental wellbeing. We are looking forward to seeing some awesome skipping, maybe even some new tricks.
During the weeks of the program, your child will learn new skills, increase their physical activity, and learn about heart health. The program will end with our school wide ‘Jump Off Day’ on 9th June, 2023 where your child gets to show off their new skipping skills to their friends.
Draws will be published on the Tamworth Netball Association Facebook page each week or alternatively find them linked below.
We would love to share information about your child’s special achievements across all sporting areas, please email detailed information and a photograph if available to the Sports Coordinator, Mrs Gippel, at: nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au
