Faith Education

Ru Lameijn - Deputy Principal & Religious Education Leader

Today, we want to stand still for a minute and think about the school community of Exford Primary School in Eynesbury.

We Pray

We extend our hands and hearts to the students and community of Exford Primary School. Our prayers and thoughts are with them and their families in this terrible tragedy. May they find protection and comfort within their family and friends and in God and may they recover and heal quickly with the least amount of discomfort and pain.

Loving God, Father and Mother of us all – be with them now.

We Read (Matthew 11:28-30)

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

We Respond

We think of those whose lives have been changed dramatically in Eynesbury.

God of mercy hold each of the student who were hurt in the horrible accident gently in the palm of your hands. In your mercy give the strength to walk the difficult path to come. Guide and bless all your people as we stand in solidarity during this time.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

Amen

Kinds Regards,
