Under 6 White is travelling very well and gelling as a team. Charlie and Alexander have been big goal-scorers, Dustin has been holding together the mid-field and Owen, Archie and Jaxson have only let one goal through in three games.  Well done boys.

Week 4 saw LNPS record another win, winning every match they have played.  Each of the 10 squad players has made big contributions either through goals, assists, defending or goalkeeping.  So far this year we have:

played 4, won 4, scored 35 and conceded only 3.

Girls Football

We are reaching out with an exciting opportunity for girls in schools to try AFL football!

The growth of girl’s football brings another sporting option for girls to participate in and we want to make football as accessible for as many girls as possible.

 In Term 3, SANFL is running a FREE girls-only school-based, small-sided competition for girls in years 2-6.

Teams of up to 12 players will nominate to participate in a 6-week competition (year 2/3/4 or 5/6) against other schools from the surrounding SANFL zones. 

Games will be played on a weeknight after school, or on a weekend morning. All equipment and umpires will be provided by SANFL, and students are welcome to wear PE-appropriate school uniforms when participating, if football uniforms are not available.

The main intention of this competition is to provide girls with a safe, inclusive, and fun football experience which does not require a significant time commitment.

If your child is interested in participating in the all-girls competition, please fill out the expression of interest form and return it to the front office by Friday, June 9th.
