Literacy and Numeracy
Mathematics - How often do you ask your child about their learning?
It was terrific to hear that so many children are talking about their mathematics learning at home. Keep up the good work.

National Simultaneous Story Time
Our Year Prep - Year 2 students enjoyed the book 'Speedy Sloth' as part of the National Simultaneous Story Time. Running for 23 years, the initiative aims to celebrate Australian authors and illustrators and to encourage a love of reading and the the importance of literacy skills. 'Speedy Sloth' was written by Rebecca Young and illustrated by Heath McKenzie.
One lucky student from each Prep - Year 2 class took home a copy of the book to enjoy at home with their family. A big thank you to Jo Matarazzo in our library for organising the purchase of the books and promotion of the Story Time.
