ACU Uni Step-Up Program

Our 11 students were given a presentation from ACU on the Uni Step-Up Program.

Uni Step Up is a chance for students to experience university life at ACU by studying two first year units while they are still in senior secondary school.

They’ll get a head start on university, develop connections with current university students and staff, and study at a university level.

Congratulations to our two year 12 students Erica, Amelia and Ameliah who just completed the program and spoke to students about their experiences.

Ex student Jade also co-hosted the presentation. She completed the program in 2021/2022 and is now studying Nursing at ACU Melbourne.

Young Women in Trades & Tech Expo

A group of girls attended The Trades Fit: Young Women in Trades & Tech Expo in Melbourne.

The Trades Fit expo demonstrates the exciting world of trade and tech industries and the rewarding, well-paid career opportunities they can provide to young women.

Students & staff participated in a variety of hands on activities & experiences.

Deakin Uni Experience Day

On Monday 22nd May our year 12 VCE students attended Deakin University, Waurn Ponds campus.

Students did a campus tour and participated in lectures & workshops living ‘a day in the life’ of a Deakin University student. The workshops included Law, Engineering, Nursing & Forensic Science.

Melton City Careers Expo

The Melton City Careers Expo, held on May 23rd at Tabcorp Park  was a great chance for our years 10, 11 & 12 cohorts to liaise with tertiary institutions, explore pathway options and gather information on opportunities available to them.
