2022 SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS  

On the 2nd June, nine lucky Green Magpies represented Epsom PS at the 2022 Sustainability Victoria Awards. The day included some Lego inspiration, a corporate lunch, the awards and a tour of the MCG. There are over 2,000 schools in Victoria and 700 in the Resourcesmart program. We are rapt to have been shortlisted amongst three finalists.

GREEN MAGPIES

We have submitted all of our evidence for our fourth Sustainability star, to complete the biodiversity model. This week, Miss Chammings, Mrs Salm and Mrs Davey launch our next and last model........the ENERGY model! The launch included light sabers, Star Wars music and some special lollies. The staff are motivated to make change and the Green Magpies are too! We will be working hard to achieve 5 star status, it will be such a privilege and achievement to get there.

We have joined the Wonder Recycling Rewards Program. We are asking all families to send in their empty bread and bread roll bags to school. When we have 25kg.....yes 25kg we can trade them in for sporting equipment. House points are on offer!
