Semester 1 Reports and Parent Teacher Interviews
Staff are currently completing the semester 1 reports for students. These are scheduled to be available to parents/guardians and students on Friday 24th June. A Parent Teacher Interview session is scheduled for Tuesday 19th July, coinciding with the return of students for Term 3. Specific details for the interview schedule and the booking process will be provided at the end of the term when reports are issued.
Student Declaration Permission Online
Information will be provided via email to parents/guardians of Year 12 students in relation to the Student Declaration Permissions and the process by which this will be completed. Once the information is received please discuss this with your child so that they are then prepared to complete the process during weeks 8-10 of this term.
Jewellery
Earlier this year students and staff reviewed the expectations and requirements of what jewellery was acceptable for the College's learning environment, along with it's reputation and image. Following the discussions and endorsement of the agreed amendments Mr Watt provided information and updates to the new standards and expectations. The excerpt below is a reminder of the agreed upon standards in relation to the wearing of jewellery at the College. Students and parents are asked to familiarise themselves with these and are asked to comply with them.
Whilst students are wearing their College uniform, they need to understand that they are representing the College and contributing to the reputation and image. Expectations around acceptable jewellery are based on reducing risk of accidents on Farm and Trades, and maintaining the respectful and conservative image of the College.
Standards
Anything else presents a safety or health hazard and/or is inconsistent with the College image and the student will be asked to remove the item. Students who consistently breech this policy will have their jewellery confiscated and their status may be changed. The Principal reserves the right to intervene in the event of dispute.
Stay safe, look after each other and have a great weekend!
