Basketball

Apart from the Firsts, our A teams struggled on Saturday against Redlands teams. This weekend we will need to minimise the damage if we want to remain in Division 1 for next season. Oakhill are leading all age groups except for the Firsts. Every point counts when determining the final positions of the teams. I hope we can play well this Saturday.

On a more positive note our D and E teams played against each other. There were a couple of upsets and all games were played with great spirit.

Some of our coaches have approached me about students not attending training and missing games. This is having an impact on game day. Please support us by helping to get your son to training and to their games. We only have two rounds to go before the Finals.

  • Play of the day:  Tom Howe hits a three point buzzer beater to win it for the 13Es who were playing our 13Ds. It was a great match.
  • Game of the day:  The Firsts with a great win on the road at Redlands home court. Great stuff.
