The staff at St Fidelis have been working with Kath Murdoch, an educator and consultant, with over thirty years of experience in the field of inquiry based learning. She has published numerous books and articles and is always sought after by schools and educational organisations. We have been fortunate here at St. Fidelis to benefit from her wisdom and experience.
Kath has worked with staff and students to develop the Learning assets. The term assets are used to describe skill sets that are often needed in order to be an Inquirer. These include Thinking, Collaborating, Self-managing, Researching and Communicating. She has worked with staff so that teachers can strengthen these skills in our students.
The students in the Senior School are currently on an Inquiry journey to redesign the illustrations that represent the learning assets at St Fidelis.
Kath has also made videos specifically for St. Fidelis explaining the learning assets in more detail and how they can be applied to the situation that we’re in at the moment with COVID 19. The clips can be accessed below with passwords for the St Fidelis community only.
