Year 8 Fast Track Academy

Fast Track
The Fast Track Sport Academy at The Lakes South Morang P-9 School aims to provide advanced sporting and physical education opportunities for students who demonstrate strong athletic abilities.
Students are provided with individualised fitness and training programs, advanced and specialised coaching, physical preparation, performance analysis and training and competition support. Reach your full potential as an athlete in your chosen sport.
An important aspect of the Academy program at The Lakes is the leadership component. The program is delivered at three different levels. Bronze Leader (Year 5 & 6), Silver Leader (7 & 8), and Gold Leader (Year 9). Our aim is to build our students' capabilities and develop their skills in the area of leadership. Students within the program will be exposed to leadership opportunities at school and within the local community. The students will be able to access the program via an e-book which will complement structured classes, community investment, project work and mentoring opportunities throughout their leadership journey from 5-9. We hope that once they have completed the program, they will continue to use their ability and commit to other leadership opportunities in the future beyond The Lakes.
