In praise of Jonathan Patel, 5/6 Stavridis

Jonathan has made an excellent start in our first week of Remote Online Learning!! He has promptly attended all roll calls in the morning and the afternoon, and has come in to Google Hangout to ask questions. Jonathan has been an excellent role model in following all of the student protocols when working remotely and online, discussed in our first meeting. Well done Jonathan on a fantastic start!! Keep up the good work!!

In praise of Jennifer Le, 5/6 Stavridis Although this is the second time we have gone to Remote Online Learning, this is actually Jennifer’s first time working off site. This week she has promptly attended all Google Meet roll calls and accessed Google Hangouts for

assistance with tasks. When online, Jennifer is respectful and is mindful of waiting for her turn to speak and ask questions. A fabulous start to Remote Online Learning!!

Congratulations to Samanyu from 1/2GR.  It is so nice to see Samanyu in our reading groups on line - he is working very hard and is always interested to have a chat with you.   Samanyu is handing in his work as well - putting new work up on his portfolio with wonderful creativity shining through.

The online learner for this week in 3/4LIM is Calvin Quach for trying his best at attending online classes as well as completing his work at a good standard. Well done for helping and guiding his peers when needed. 

 

The level 3/4 have also worked on their Remote learning Certificate, could you please use them if you wouldn't mind. The students are voting for their winning ones this afternoon and I will send them to you.

For our first week back to online learning, I would like to congratulate Nicholas and Aditi for being our online learners of the week in 5/6 Doyle. Both students worked hard to produce a think board all about division. It was great to see them making connections to their prior learning and putting in their best efforts. Well done, Nicholas and Aditi!

In praise of Noah Roussell in 1/2 ME - Remote Home Learner of the Week 

Noah has begun remote home learning the second time around with an equal commitment, excitement when engaging in activities and organisation from the first time we were learning from home. He visits the daily timetable each day, attends morning check-ins, submits his work via Dojo and attends his speech and reading sessions. He is putting in a huge effort and I thank Noah and his family for a wonderful start to remote home learning.
