In praise of Aaliyah from Prep SC. During the holidays, Aaliyah and her family made a fabulous balloon monster and chain link snake using the Prep Holiday Family Kits.  What a beautiful and proud smile.

In praise of Aanika from Prep SC for attempting to sound out her words when writing. 

Gita (Aanika's mum) for supporting Aanika with her learning and seeking advice for the best way to help her child learn. 

In praise of Leanna from Prep SC for joining in the Google Meet sessions and attempting her learning tasks. (She hardly accessed any of the learning during the first round of Remote learning)

In praise of Phi-Yen from Prep PR. She drew a beautiful poster about the ways we use money and explained how on Chinese New Year we give out money for Good luck and Good wishes.

In praise of Ruth Shenoy from Prep PR. Ruth  has been completing all her work and sending photos through every day. She did an amazing job during her one-on-one reading session with Miss Prince.

In praise of Daniel Bilich from 5/6FI: His eager willingness and patience to help others in the class in solving their technical issue.

In praise of Alissa Kang from 5/6FI: Attending all Google Check ins, completing all set tasks to the best of her ability, and asking for assistance when needed.

In praise of Jonathan Patel, 5/6 Stavridis

Jonathan has made an excellent start in our first week of Remote Online Learning!! He has promptly attended all roll calls in the morning and the afternoon, and has come in to Google Hangout to ask questions. Jonathan has been an excellent role model in following all of the student protocols when working remotely and online, discussed in our first meeting. Well done Jonathan on a fantastic start!! Keep up the good work!!

In praise of Jennifer Le, 5/6 Stavridis Although this is the second time we have gone to Remote Online Learning, this is actually Jennifer’s first time working off site. This week she has promptly attended all Google Meet roll calls and accessed Google Hangouts for

assistance with tasks. When online, Jennifer is respectful and is mindful of waiting for her turn to speak and ask questions. A fabulous start to Remote Online Learning!!

In praise of Matthew from 1/2 AB has been such a hard worker every day this week.

In praise of Helen from 5/6HA for always completing her work on time and to such an amazing standard. She is always interacting with her classmates in our chat and trying to make them laugh. On top of completing all her work she still shows such dedication to her role as School Captain. 

In praise of James Dinh from 5/6HA.  James has worked on his remote learning goals by attending all his reading group chats as well as our class chats. He completes work with good detail and is asking for help whenever he needs it. 

In praise of Melan L from 1/2WE for coming to morning Google meet sessions and intervention with Ms Viola.

Congratulations to Samanyu from 1/2GR.  It is so nice to see Samanyu in our reading groups on line - he is working very hard and is always interested to have a chat with you.   Samanyu is handing in his work as well - putting new work up on his portfolio with wonderful creativity shining through.

Calvin Quach L3/4LI recommended to receive the Visual Arts Student Award for his positive approach to his learning, his classmates and his teacher, Ms Anisah as well as for his high quality artwork of implied textures and rubbings.

Calvin Quach is also the online learner for this week in 3/4LIM for trying his best at attending online classes as well as completing his work at a good standard. Well done for helping and guiding his peers when needed. 

Justice Velasquez is receiving the Visual Arts Student Award for having created a wonderful torn, cut and scrunched paper and other materials picture, using her skills and imagination.

The online learner for this week in 3/4LIM is Calvin Quach for trying his best at attending online classes as well as completing his work at a good standard. Well done for helping and guiding his peers when needed. 

The level 3/4 have also worked on their Remote learning Certificate, could you please use them if you wouldn't mind. The students are voting for their winning ones this afternoon and I will send them to you.

In praise of Mathew Mading from 3/4NG who did a fantastic job on sorting out present tense and past tense sentences all by himself.

In praise of Hyewon Park from 3/4NG. Heyewon made a wonderful puppet show about forgiveness and the importance of forgiving others.

For our first week back to online learning, I would like to congratulate Nicholas and Aditi for being our online learners of the week in 5/6 Doyle. Both students worked hard to produce a think board all about division. It was great to see them making connections to their prior learning and putting in their best efforts. Well done, Nicholas and Aditi!

In praise of Ethan La from 3/4BA- for being present as he has consistently joined our Google Meets and Reading groups. 

In praise of Seira Gallardo from 3/4BA- for being responsible for her learning by asking the teacher questions and trying very hard with all her tasks

In praise of Layla in 5/6PO for starting off Online and Remote Learning in Term 3 with a positive attitude and confidence to do her best. Layla has been wonderful at communicating with me and checking in to make sure she is on the right track. She is also very good at attending our morning and afternoon class meetings on Google Meet.

In praise of Mischitha in 5/6 PO for her perseverance and determination during online learning. Mischitha will always ask for help when she needs it and works hard to develop her understanding. Mischitha is very good at attending all our morning and afternoon meetings on Google Meet.

In praise of Noah Roussell in 1/2 ME - Remote Home Learner of the Week 

Noah has begun remote home learning the second time around with an equal commitment, excitement when engaging in activities and organisation from the first time we were learning from home. He visits the daily timetable each day, attends morning check-ins, submits his work via Dojo and attends his speech and reading sessions. He is putting in a huge effort and I thank Noah and his family for a wonderful start to remote home learning. 

In praise of Francesco Farelle from 1/2KO.  Francesco has been working extremely hard during the first week of remote learning. He has shown determination and enthusiasm during every morning check in, as well as producing a high quality of work. Keep up the great work Francesco 

In praise of Jenul Baskaran form 1/2KO. Each morning, Jenul has been eager and excited to join the morning check ins. He comes with a positive attitude and a smiling face, he should feel really proud of the work he is doing. 

In praise of Marin and Jaskirat from 3/4 CH for doing such an outstanding job of being ready for learning all through their week.
