Our New Committee
Last Wednesday we held our AGM and first meeting back since Covid and it was so wonderful to have so many new and familiar faces join us.
We would like to thank our outgoing treasurer Katrina Doyle for all her hard work and dedication to the P&F over the years. Katrina has worked tirelessly keeping us all in check and in order and we are so grateful for the new systems she has put in place. Thank you for everything!
We now say hello to our new Executive Committee Members...
Your representatives this year are: Georgina Nichols (President), Emma Brown (Vice President), Kate Hardy (Treasurer) and Marg Jones (Secretary).
Meetings
We had many suggestions about Wednesday being a tricky night for meetings with lots of various sports played that night so our next meeting will be held on
Tuesday 18th August 2020 at the St Mary’s Library from 5:30pm.
We would love to see you there! If you can’t attend and have any feedback or concerns you can pass on information to the committee members to raise.
Survey Results
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey, we had a fantastic response with 149 surveys completed.
Lots of discussion was had at our last meeting with the breakdown of the survey results and we will continue to work through the suggestions and start making the plan on 2021 events at our next meeting. We have some ambitious projects and events on the horizon!
There were lots of suggestions for dances for both students and adults. Once restrictions are lifted, we will be getting that dance floor ready for the young and the young at heart!
We had some queries about the Debutante Ball and its relevance. We are fortunate enough to be able to run the Ball on behalf of the Parish as a major fundraiser which in turn raises an average of $15 000 for our schools each year.
The Ball is such a highlight for Year 11 students and their families and a great community event that we look forward to each year.
