Library Loans and borrowing Term 4 2021

WELCOME BACK  to Term 4 onsite learning. Please remember to return your library books! Loans cease on November 19th to ensure that all books are back for the annual December stocktake at the MFG Library. Please help us by getting all of those books back.

Library Loans and Premiers' Reading Challenge

It's been refreshing to have so many English classes in to borrow and to have lunchtime browsing and borrowing resume. The new books have immediately been snapped up and it's good to see the piles of books being returned after COVID lock downs. MFG students love to read! Well done to the 47 students who completed the Premiers Reading challenge for 2021 too. The certificates are on their way!! Stay tuned for the 2022 Challenge.

Term 4 Craft Club - Make Bake Wear Polymer Clay Jewellery Making

Lots of students have signed up for our Term 4 Jewellery Making Club - Make Bake Wear. We have 2 groups on Mondays and Fridays capped at 10 and we will be taking ourselves outdoors to be inspired by nature at the picnic tables - weather permitting! The creations are baked at Food Tech for 20 minutes by Miss Marshall after each session and are taken home the next morning by students. Here are some fine examples of our creations from 2020. Ms Hall was our visiting expert who inspired all with her polymer clay earring collection. Thanks very much Bu Hall.

ROTARY - while you are home feel free to clear out any unwanted books for Rotary and bring them into school to the big box in the library foyer. Rotary picks these up every year for their big charity fundraising booksale! We love helping them. The 2021 pick up will occur at the end of Term 4 so please continue with your donations.
