South Coast Aquathon Trial

On Monday 1 November, eleven of our top athletes will be competing at the Evandale Community Park in the South Coast Aquathon trial. The trial is a 1km run - 200m swim - 1km run. We are very proud of our students stepping up and having a go at this event. Good luck for the day.   

Swimming Carnival Year 3 - 6

Notes will be coming home shortly for the Year 3 - 6 Swimming Carnival on Tuesday 7 December at the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre. We use this carnival as our selection for our 2022 school team that will go to the Oceanic District Swimming Carnival early next year. 

Students will compete in freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke along with the novelty races. 

On the day, students can swim in either the 25m race or nominate for the competitive 50m races if they would like to trial for age champion or the school team. Students can only swim either the 25m or 50m race for each stroke. Nominations for any of the competitive 50m races must be before the carnival, therefore I will be asking students during their sports lessons if they would like to nominate. Please have a chat to your child if you would like them to nominate for any of the competitive races.
