Vacation Care

Just a reminder that Vacation Care bookings are now OPEN! (see program link below)

Vacation care bookings closed on Wednesday 28th September (week 10). This is to help ensure that we have staffed accordingly and to ensure the best possible care for your children. As with any service, we need to be financially viable to offer a vacation care program. As the program is reliant on having sufficient numbers of children booked in, early bookings would be appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Tristin on 0418 585 142.

OSHC Activities

We have had so much fun learning about outer space and spring, as well as trying different sensory experiences and focusing on our self-help skills. By far the favourite topics were space and sensory play. We had a great time getting our hands messy with the sensory experiences (sorry parents and caregivers). We learnt about space and made our own rockets and completed cool glow in the dark puzzles. We are currently still working on making our planets from scratch. We can’t wait for Space Day in the school holidays and to see what other fun and exciting things we can do! We got to play with a new and cool toy - the electricity ball! This was lots of fun and very interesting. It opened our minds for lots of imagination.

While focusing on self-help skills we have been helping to prepare a snack, learning to tie our own shoelaces and getting into a routine of cleaning up after ourselves. We have also been learning about positive self-talk and why this is important to develop for ourselves and the people around us.

Also, a special shout out to one of our amazing families who donated some aprons that we can use for all our messy art, craft and sensory activities. We love them and appreciate it.

*IMPORTANT* Please don’t forget to book your children into Vacation Care if you require care for the upcoming School Holidays, or if you think they’ll have a blast with our themed days and want them involved! Bookings close on Wednesday the 28th of September.

Come in to OSHC before 8:30am or after 3:00pm to get a copy of our holiday program if you’re interested.

To enrol your child into OSHC please complete the enrolment forms at http://clovellyoshc.fullybookedccms.com.au/family Please call 0418 585 142 with any questions or if you need assistance.

Once your enrolment form has been received, you will need to meet with the Director to ensure all information has been supplied. Once your enrolment has been confirmed, you will be notified that you are able to book your child into the service.

A reminder that all Medical plans and documentation are required prior to an enrolment being accepted. All documents and medications must be in date for children to continue to access the service.
