Learning and Teaching
Dear Parents,
This term our teachers will continue using data and assessment for teaching instruction as well as assessing students as they prepare to deliver the Semester Two Student Reports. It is a busy term for all staff and students but it is also a term of exciting events that are planned for the end of the year.
Our whole school Faith-Based Inquiry concept this term is ‘Connections’, with a Geography focus.
Here are our BIG Questions that each level will be investigating;
Prep:
Living in God’s big world, what is my connection to country?
Year 1/2:
As Christians, how can we use our gifts to make connections in many different ways, to enhance our world?
Year 3/4:
Why are some places special or sacred and how can we live this through our Catholic faith and values?
Year 5/6:
How do our Catholic Social Teachings impact our perception and connection to a diverse and changing world?
