CPSSA Swimming Carnival 

Last Thursday, selected swimmers competed in the CPSSA Swimming Carnival at the HBF Stadium. Our team showed depth and consistency with many 3rd placings throughout the day. Our Year 6 Girls, Sophia and Sam had a clean sweep of the A division races for all 50m events. I would like to thank Mr Dropulich, Mrs Bolton, Mrs Trott, Mrs Civiletti and Mrs Field for time keeping. Thank you to those parents and family members who came to support the children and made for a fantastic atmosphere for the Carnival.

Sporting Schools Clubs

Sporting Schools Clubs commenced this week. Gymnastics on Tuesdays for Years 1 and 2 are full but there is plenty of room for the Rugby Club on Wednesdays which is open to Years 3 to 6. Please email me at jodie.stewart@cewa.edu.au for more information regarding Rugby Club.

Netball

After a strong start to our pre-season training, the girls were all ready to hit the courts down at Noranda, showcasing their talent. Their hard work really paid off in the end where the girls came through on top with a smashing score of 19-1. We’re very proud of our girls and can’t wait to see what the remainder of the season brings!
