A Dozen Diabolical Questions

In the spirit of staying connected and having some fun during Stage 3 Restrictions, we asked a Year 12 student and Girton staff member to share a little more about themselves.  We asked them 12 questions which have been popularized by Marcel Proust, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature.

Which living person do you most admire?

So many people… My Aunty Jan is merely a fantastic and resilient 86 year old who has a great perspective on life.  An artist and a lover of jazz, I love when we get together to solve the world's problems.

I also admire my Drama colleagues past and present; Mrs Jackson, Ms Ellison, Mr Pease and Miss Marshall all still play a significant role in my life.  Their creativity and passion for students and their craft has me continually wanting to be and do better.

Two famous people I admire are Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is an American composer, lyricist, actor, singer, rapper, producer and playwright.  Because 'Hamilton'… sigh……enough said.  And finally, Misty Copeland is another person I admire.  She was the first African American Principal Ballet dancer at the prestigious American Ballet Theatre.  Her resilience and drive are incredible!
