VCE Music

VCE Music Performance and Music Investigation subjects are extensively focused on performance, and with the COVID-19 restrictions, the performance opportunities for students have been significantly reduced. Dr Lichnovsky, Mrs Vine and Mr Vine have established a VCE Music recital schedule and recording program to assist students in becoming accustomed to recital performance once again, while also becoming familiar with the possibility that their recital might become a virtual recital. The students and their accompanists have been preparing their recital programs, presenting them in a safe setting and with the support of Mr Jared Hodges (AV tech) and Mr Mark Beever have been able to capture their performances. These performances give the students the opportunity for self-reflection. Also, they are preparing the students for any possible contingency that might occur if their recital cannot be presented in person.
