New Sprinklers

We are so excited to be installing a new sprinkler system on our oval. Thank you to the team at Temptations for the work they are doing on the installation.  

With the first signs of some warmer weather this week, we can only imagine how good it will look when we have a school full of students back to enjoy the green space.  The new system will be much more efficient and save a lot of water whilst creating a more consistent surface.

The improved surface will complement the fantastic new cricket pitch installed by the Rochester Cricket Club last year.  The Rochester Cricket Club organised the new cricket pitch with the total cost of the project being $9,730.00 plus some sponsorship from Coolabah Turf to re-lay the run-ups. Major contributors where Goulburn Murray Cricket, IGA Rochester and the balance was funded by the Rochester CC. Works were carried out by Mundie Constructions, Rochester Flooring & Temptation Landscaping. The wicket meets Cricket Australia guidelines and will serve both Rochester Secondary College and the Rochester Cricket Club well into the future.

We love working with our community to ensure our students have access to great facilities here in Rochester.   Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing local sport back in action when the time is right.
