‘Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.’

Dalai Lama

We are so proud of our school community. Your collaboration, innovation, courage, compassion and resilience has meant that our students have been able to continue to learn and thrive in these ever-changing times.

Wellbeing and connection are of the highest importance at Rochester Secondary College, along with the continuity of learning and we have been determined to deliver the best quality of education, no matter the circumstance that we may face.

This could not have been possible without the expertise, professionalism and dedication of our teachers and the support of our education support staff.

It is really important that if a student misses a live Google Meet that they contact their teacher and make a connection. We are working to support students and families, please let us know if you need any further support from the College.

We do not have any further information in regards to students returning to on-site learning and promise we will inform families as soon as information becomes available.  We have been told to plan for remote learning to continue for all of term 3 at this stage.

We take on the feelings and perspectives of others and act intuitively to support them. As the Dalai Lama says ‘Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.’

Thank you to our parents, students and staff, a truly outstanding effort by all.
