Living on just $2 a day

Living Below the Line

A group of Trinity College Year 12 students is participating in the Live Below The Line initiative this week.

The students are eating just $2 worth of food each day for five days, to represent the often overlooked poverty in a country such as Australia.

These students have a donation page on the Live Below the Line website (look for TCC Year 12), where donations go towards educating youth in poverty stricken areas to help their communities become healthier and more economically stable.

However, they do understand the financial hardship many are facing in this time and are more than happy to just spread awareness and inform the community.

Trinity students taking part in this initiative include Mikaela Vuzem, Alina Bright, Tamsyn Bright, Belle Brylow, Jem Saravanja, Jessica Box and Meg Nelson.

Keep up the good work guys!
