Shout Outs 

A big shout out to Phil and Michaela.

They will be presenting a livestreamed gig tonight called 'Songs from Lockdown - Phil Hudson 'Live on Mars' (doing mainly originals as well as a couple of covers including our 'We Will Survive') and Michaela is doing backups on clarinet and vocals/percussion. It's also going to be a refugee support fundraiser in lieu of a door fee.

A huge shout out is to all students for the amazing job that they have done this term and showing resilience and perseverance. The Staff of Newlands P.S.

Belinda's shout out is to the Specialist Team, who have gone over and above during lock down to ensure the activities set were fun and engaging, which is no small feat for our curriculum areas! Thanks for all the extra hours and dedication to your jobs. I appreciate it so much. 

Maya would like to thank her teachers, Papa and Mama and Spencer for helping her with her learning.

Taylor would like to nominate his dad and mum and sister. His dad and mum have done the best home schooling and his sister has been very kind to him.

William has nominated the Epping Animal Welfare Facility for lost pets. His family found a lost cat at his garden and they are looking after him and trying to find him a new home. 

Xavier has nominated his dad. His dad looked after him when he hurt his knee on his scooter. Xavier loves his dad.

Edison nominated his dad because he leaves treats in his lunchbox.

Jess has a shout out to the F1 team for being so amazing and supportive this term. Our planning days always included lots of creative ideas alongside many laughs which has been so wonderful during this crazy time. 

My shout out to all staff at Newlands for the amazing way have adapted to ensure that all students have cared for their students and each other during term 3. Sonya
