Secondary 11/12

Team Leader's Message

Its hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of 2021, what a year it has been!  All of our Year 12 students returned to school at the start of the term, enthusiastic to complete their VCAL Learning Outcomes.  Week 3 saw the return of our Year 11 students who also returned with positivity and enthusiasm.  As we readjusted to normal life, students have completed their VET programs and are enjoying some freedoms being able to move about once again and go on experiences in the community.

We were delighted to be able to take our Year 12 students on an experience to remember to the Mornington Peninsula.  Students enjoyed tree surfing, stand up paddle boarding and sea kayaking before time at the Hot Springs.  They also enjoyed dinner at the Sorrento Hotel with walks on the beach at sunset, picking fresh strawberries at the Sunnyridge Strawberry farm, a trip to the summit to the Arthurs Seat Eagle fun relaxing camp and finally feeding the animals at the Moonlit Sanctuary.  It was a fabulous camp and in the words of one of our students “the perfect way to end Year 12”  Please enjoy the photos!!

Its been a fantastic year, despite all the interruptions and the Secondary Year 11 and 12 staff couldn’t be prouder of the way our students have soldiered on through all the disruptions with a maturity that needs to be commended.  They remained positive through it all and should enjoy the rewards their hard work has brought.

Well done everyone.
