Staff Development/Pupil Free Day - Friday 3rd December
We wish to advise our parents and carers that tomorrow, Friday 3rd December 2021, will be a Pupil Free Day for all students K - 6.
Our staff will be using this day to engage in a variety of professional development sessions based around the importance of 'The Balanced Reader', and how to best support students in their progress from 'learning to read' to 'reading to learn'. We will be welcoming Carmel Small, a Professional Development Consultant, to deliver this training for our staff.
2023 Kindergarten Enrolments - ENROL NOW
Applications for Kindergarten 2023 are NOW OPEN. Please contact the Infants Campus for an enrolment pack. Enrolment Forms will not be processed until all supporting documents are received: Birth Certificate; Immunisation Certificate; Baptismal Certificate (only required if your child is baptised Catholic) and proof of student’s residential address. Please spread the word if you know of anyone with a child wishing to start at St Edward's School in Kindergarten in 2023.

School Fees
A reminder to our families that we would be most grateful if all outstanding school fee accounts could be finalised as soon as possible. All school fees were due 1st September 2021. Payments can be made at any time via Qkr, Direct Debit or EFT direct into the school's bank account (Ref: surname and fee account number). Thank you to those families who pay their fees promptly, this helps so much with our school budget. We are aware of financial difficulties facing some families in these hard times and are more than happy to talk with families experiencing problems. Please make contact with the Principal, by phone or by appointment, to discuss your financial responsibilities. It is vital that you do make contact, thank you.
Leaving or Relocating??
Planning for the 2022 school year is well underway. Over the coming weeks we will be placing students in classes for 2022. If your child is currently in K – Year 5 and you will NOT be returning to St Edward’s in 2022, please let the school know in writing as soon as possible. Thank you to the families who have already notified the school regarding changes for 2022.
Students in Sick Bay
In the current climate, if your child presents at the front office complaining of feeling sick, we are required to call parents to collect them. Likewise, if your child has a cough, sore throat, runny nose or other illness, please keep them at home and do not send them to school. As per NSW Health guidelines, if your child has any cold or flu-like symptoms, please have them COVID tested. A negative test result needs to be provided to the school and the child needs to be symptom free prior to their return. Thank you for your continued support and co-operation.
