STEM News

Our Grade 5 and 6 students have been studying what STEM scientists do and ways they have reached their goal to get where they are now. For instance, students focused on what Geologists do.

Geologists study rocks, minerals, fossils, landforms and layers of the Earth's surface. Students keenly inspected a large quartz rock for gold. I picked up this rock in Castlemaine; a prospective area for gold.

Our Grade 6 Number Ninjas have been working hard in successfully learning how to do Long Division. The key steps in doing Long Division are taking one digit at a time and writing neatly. This will help you stay organised by keeping the digits in the correct columns.

Congratulations to our Grade 6 Number Ninjas as they move into secondary school with confidence!
