Harry Potter Trivia

We are excited to announce that trivia is back on!

We encourage students to come to the library on Thursday 25 November for Harry Potter trivia (part 2) at lunch time.

Remembrance Day

On 11 November we recognised Remembrance Day and took part in reflecting in silence and showing respect to all who fought and died in the war for our country. Our display was used for the entire week so students could read and have conversations about the history of Remembrance Day.

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

This week we are turning to Christmas celebrations and bringing some festive cheer to the library.  We have some Christmas books on display around the library, if you like a holiday themed novel. We have started chatting about our favourite Christmas movies, story books and even our favourite songs.  Thanks to Logen C (Year 10) for helping with the decorating and book displays around the library.

Here are some of the Christmas Books we currently have in the library:

A most unexpected adventure into a world unknown. Enter if you dare . . .
The Caddy kids are home alone and they're having the best time ever. Until a stranger arrives with news . . .
This is the story of how four loud, grubby urchins from the Australian outback find themselves in London for the first peacetime Christmas after years of war.
But their new guardian hates children. He prefers the company of the hundreds of snakes in his house – the Kensington Reptilarium.
Fate lends Kick, Scruff, Bert and Pin a helping hand when outraged citizens call for the Reptilarium to be shut down. With the police about to descend, can the Caddy kids warm Uncle Basti's heart – and have their Christmas wishes granted – before it's too late?
A feel-good tale that will have you cheering on these four fearless bush kids as they take on the world.

A romantic festive treat (11+ years) from the internationally bestselling award-winning author of the Geek Girl series.
Harriet Manners loves Christmas and knows a lot about Christmas. She knows that every year Santa climbs down 91.8 million chimneys. She knows that Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer was almost definitely a girl. She knows that the first artificial Christmas trees were made out of goose feathers but she knows nothing about first dates….
