School Nurse

Nurse Cecile

It certainly has not been the end of year celebrations we had planned at Brighton Primary School. We send our best wishes to all those families who have had cases of COVID-19 and are currently isolating. I hope that they all stay well and have a speedy recovery. We thank all families for following the school guidelines to keep our community safe in undertaking COVID testing when deemed a close contact and sending these results as soon as they are obtained. Our school community has certainly shown compassion and understanding during this time to reach out to those who have been affected. Please continue to send your results to cecile.elliott@education.vic.gov.au and feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.

As the end of the year approaches I ask that all parents make sure they collect any medication that is stored for their child at school on their child's last day of attendance.

Please make sure that you collect:

  • Ventolin and spacers from the classroom
  • Antihistamines or medication stored in the Health Centre
  • Epipens from both the classroom and the Health Centre

Your child’s medication cannot be stored at the school during the Christmas break.

Please remember that next year, we will need your child’s medication returned to school with them on their first day along with an appropriate action plan (for those with anaphylaxis and asthma).

I hope you have a wonderful and restful break. Look forward to seeing you in 2022!

Kind regards,

Nurse Cecile
